is an antique oil mill from the 19th century, transformed into a quaint restaurant just a few paces from the centre of Montefalco, located in Via Santa Chiara ( With a GPS use the address: Via Verdi 52 ),
in the province of Perugia.
Alla Via di Mezzo is an ideal place for business dinners, group dinners, or simply a place to enjoy a lunch or dinner in good taste, surrounded by a rustic and comfortable atmosphere.

Giorgio Barchiesi is big and wonderful, with an open and sensitive character and a true companion of adventures. In his vegetable garden he cultivates everything, he breeds animals
of all kinds and prepares cuisine as it should be.
For many he is known as Giorgione, the protagonist of a TV series on the Gambero Rosso Channel called, "Giorgione - Orto e Cucina". Class '57, Roman atypical (he left the capital at 19 and has not returned), Umbrian by adoption, today Giorgio cooks simple recipes with passion in his inn, creating tasty combinations that are easy to whip up.
Simple cooking
Il Ristorante Alla Via di Mezzo da Giorgione offers simple cuisine, not necessarily just Umbrian, with maximum attention to the quality of the products used, starting with strictly extra-virgin oil oil.
Rich menus of meat and other specialties are available, including hot mixed appetizers, cold-cuts, a wide selection of cheeses, steaks, first and second courses.
And to accompany every specialty, the restaurant offers, in addition to the renowned wines of Montefalco, a careful selection of additional wines and beverages.
Fixed menu
Giorgione always offers a fixed menu based on seasonal produce, composed of: buffet style appetizers,two homemade pasta dishes as first courses, two meat dishes as main courses, two side dishes, and a homemade dessert to finish.
